Dr. Grazie Pozo Christie, Senior Fellow for The Catholic Association and host of the nationally syndicated radio show, Conversations with Consequences, was honored for her writing achievements at the 2024 Catholic Media Conference held in Atlanta, June 18-21.

Dr. Christie is a prolific writer and speaker in both English and Spanish, whose work is centered on the topics of Catholicism, religious freedom, dignity of life, and the intersection of faith and science. Her 2023 work garnered two second place awards at the conference, one for Best Regular Column – Family Life, known as With Grace,” and another for Best Original Poetry in her piece entitled, “From Guilt to Grace.”

The Catholic Media Awards honors writers who have made outstanding contributions to Catholic journalism and communications, and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to the principles and ideals of Catholic Media’s mission.

As a radiologist and co-host of the video series, “In a Pro-Life Minute,” Dr. Christie is able to bring a physician’s perspective to matters of healthcare that affect family life and faith, government health policy, and related social issues. Her writing has also been published in USA Today, National Review, The Washington Post, and the New York Times.
