Senior Fellow Ashley McGuire joined NPR’s “On Point” to discuss the Synod taking place in Rome. You can listen to her remarks beginning at minute 44. She said:

“I think Catholic women are a little tired of the cliche that women feel like, I don’t know, somehow, we’re not a part of the church because we’re not priests. And I think, I’m part of a women’s group that meets every week in the basement of a church. And that never comes up. What comes up are, things like pregnancy loss and the pain and suffering that people are experiencing from suicide and addiction.”
