Ashley joined NPR to discuss the confusion President Biden has caused by putting his faith at the center of his presidential campaign while supporting policies that are at ends with fundamental and unchangeable Church teaching.
She doubled-down on these contradictions in USA TODAY, noting that President Biden campaigned heavily on his faith despite the fact that he supports radical pro-abortion policies, among other positions at odds with the Church. She warned that his presidency will create confusion, especially among Catholics. “His presidency threatens to leave Catholics and the nation more divided than ever on the matters of life and religious liberty, areas where Church teaching is eminently clear.”
She expanded on these concerns in an inauguration special that aired on NBC News.
