God loves us, God loves you all, and evil will not prevail! All of us are in God’s hands. So, let us move forward, without fear, together, hand in hand with God and with one another!
On May 8, 2025, Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost was elected the 267th bishop of Rome, choosing the name Pope Leo XIV and becoming leader to the world’s more than 1.4 billion Catholics. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, he is the first pope born in the United States and the first from North America. A dual citizen of the US and Peru, his motto is one of unity… “In Illo uno unum” meaning “In the One, we are one”.
Pope Leo already made unity a central theme of his papacy as he leads the Catholic Church in meeting the challenges of our modern world. Our Holy Father is a spiritual guide to his flock and an inspiration to the faithful across the globe. TCA works in unity with the Holy Father’s Gospel message of joy and mercy to all the world.
